CashCraft / Your information

Privacy policy

Last updated: September 14, 2026

CashCraft is a personal, privately shared crafting game maintained by Cory. This policy explains the public website and the optional Google Drive features in supported game builds.

What the game uses

The game stores world and player progress on the device where you play. When you choose to connect Google Drive, CashCraft processes the account information Google returns, the selected folder identifier, authorization credentials, save contents and file metadata needed for the connection.

World saves can contain the island seed, changes to the world, player position, inventory, progress, save timestamps and revision identifiers. Update downloads contain release metadata, signatures and game content packages.

Google Drive access and its purpose

CashCraft requests Google's limited https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file permission. It uses this permission to access app-created or explicitly authorized files, organize them in the selected CashCraft folder, upload saves, load shared saves and retrieve signed game updates. It does not request unrestricted access to the rest of your Drive.

Google handles sign-in and permission approval. CashCraft does not ask for or receive your Google password. Connecting Drive is optional; local play and local saves remain available without it.

For an explanation of this permission, see Google's Drive permissions documentation.

Where information is stored and shared

Local saves and connection information are stored on your device. Shared saves and release files are stored in the connected Google Drive account. Connection credentials are handled on the device, using the platform's account or protected-storage facilities where available; they are not part of this public website.

Google receives the authorized requests needed to provide sign-in and Drive storage. Anyone who can use the same account, access its shared folders, or access an unlocked device may also be able to access the saved world files. CashCraft does not make those files public merely because you connect it.

This website is not a save-storage server. CashCraft does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising or profiling, or use it to train generalized AI models. There is no automatic upload of game saves to the project maintainer for support.

CashCraft's use of Google API information follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Google information is used only to provide the user-facing save and update features described here.

Retention, deletion and your choices

Local and Drive saves remain until you remove them; older revisions or backup copies may remain separately. To remove stored game data, delete the relevant local saves and Drive files, including any retained revisions and copies you no longer want.

You can revoke CashCraft's Google access in your Google Account's third-party connections. Revoking access stops future authorized access but does not by itself delete files already saved or downloaded. Removing a file on one device does not necessarily remove copies on other devices.

For help finding or deleting CashCraft data, contact corylellis807@gmail.com. Do not send passwords, access tokens or other account credentials.

Visits to this website

The site itself contains no account registration, advertising, analytics scripts or tracking cookies. Its hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes normal web-request information, such as IP addresses and browser/request metadata, to deliver and protect the site. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for its practices.

If you email for help, the maintainer receives your email address and the contents you choose to send, and uses them to respond. Support correspondence may be kept while needed to address the request; you can ask for its deletion.

Family use

The game is shared privately, not offered as a public signup service for children. A parent or guardian should manage account permissions and decide which devices and people may access shared saves. No child's name or email is needed to play locally.

Changes and contact

This policy will be updated when the described practices change. The date above identifies this version. Privacy questions can be sent to the CashCraft project maintainer at corylellis807@gmail.com.
